A large crowd gathered for the blessing of the life-size nativity, with some of the original sheep and artistic mural of a scene in Bethlehem and bright star in the east end of Garfield Park west of Ohio Street.
The Beacon-News Chicago."A life-size nativity scene has been erected behind the Piazza in Eldred. It was created by the staff at the Corner Store. They hope to add to it over the years, and it is available to the public for viewing anytime. It was blessed by Father Tom from St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in Yulan on December 3."
